Trivia Tide (“we,” “our,” “us”) operates mobile applications and web services on behalf of 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and phone number. You can create an account using Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, or phone-number verification via a one-time SMS passcode, and you may provide optional profile information. We also collect usage data including gameplay statistics, donation history, and app interaction data. Device information such as device type, operating system, and unique identifiers may be collected for service functionality.
Your information is used to provide and maintain the Service, process donations through Stripe, send game notifications, provide customer support, and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Trivia Tide operates as a multi-tenant platform. Each nonprofit’s data is strictly isolated and is never shared with or accessible to other organizations on the platform. We enforce data isolation at the database level.
We integrate with the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy terms: Stripe for payment processing (subject to Stripe’s Privacy Policy); Apple and Google for authentication via Sign in with Apple and Google Sign-In; Twilio for phone-number verification (SMS one-time passcodes); MailerSend for transactional email; and Bunny.net for media delivery. Each service receives only the data necessary to perform its function.
You may delete your account and associated personal data at any time directly within the app, or by contacting us at privacy@triviatide.com. Upon request, we remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate financial and tax record-keeping related to donations.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure credential storage via platform-native secure storage APIs, and database-level access controls.
The Service is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via the app or email.
