Trivia Tide (“we,” “our,” “us”) operates mobile applications and web services on behalf of 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including your name and email address through Apple or Google Sign-In, and any optional profile information you choose to provide. We also collect usage data including gameplay statistics, donation history, and app interaction data. Device information such as device type, operating system, and unique identifiers may be collected for service functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to provide and maintain the Service, process donations through Stripe, send game notifications, provide customer support, and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Isolation

Trivia Tide operates as a multi-tenant platform. Each nonprofit’s data is strictly isolated and is never shared with or accessible to other organizations on the platform. We enforce data isolation at the database level.

4. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following third-party services: Stripe for payment processing (subject to Stripe’s Privacy Policy), Apple for authentication via Sign In with Apple, and Google for authentication via Google Sign-In. Each service is governed by its own privacy terms.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Upon request, we will remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate financial record-keeping.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure credential storage via platform-native secure storage APIs, and database-level access controls.

7. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via the app or email.
